The speaker of Parliament, Hon Anita Among has taken to her social media pages to congratulate the leader of Opposition, Hon Joel Ssenyonyi upon his graduation from LDC. Ssenyonyi was among the many graduates from the Law Development Centre who graduated today.
The Nakawa West Member of Parliament graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Apparently Ssenyonyi had previously graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law. He decided to pursue further studies and has described the past 9 months as very intense.
“When I did the Law Degree, I found it to be quite engaging, but the Bar Course/Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Law Development Center (LDC) was even more intense. But I thank God that the consuming 9 months ended successfully. Mukama abikoze…Counsel ting dis,” said the MP.
Many people have congratulated the young lawmaker upon this achievement and among these is his superior at Parliament. The Lop and Speaker have oftentimes clashed due to their differing ideologies.

Hon Anita Among however found it fit to congratulate her colleague. She said that the Hose is looking forward to using his legal expertise which has come with advanced education.
