For the second time in less than a year, Mama D alias Dorcus Basheba Kirabo is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Cooking Marathon (Cookathon) by an individual. And as you read this, she is already into her 27th hour and still grinding.
It should be known that, she started yesterday at exactly mid night, and she has been rolling until the time of this publication. According to her, she is set to cook for a whooping 192 hours and whatever food she cooks, is eaten by the people cheering her up.
More so, some other food is taken to the streets and it feeds the hungry on the streets. Further to know is that, Mama D on Thursday (December 28 2023) broke the then standing record for the Longest Cooking Marathon by an individual.
With in twist of events, after she submitted her evidence to Guinness World Records, another African from Ghana called Failatu Abdul-Razak broke the record Mama D had set before she was announced. From that day, she announced that she was repeating the Cookathon to cover for her fans.

This time, she is doing her World Record attempt from High Note bar and Grill that is located in Kireka on Kamuli road. By the time of this publication, she had already served more than 10 meals to her fans. And her meals have received a great reception after everyone raising how sweet and good they are.
