Famous media personality and entertainment perennial, Etania Mutoni has been sacked by the city radio station, NRG FM. The radio station in a notice accessed by this website on social media fired the self-styled Life of the Party over indiscipline.
The station stated that dignity and mutual respect are some of its top principles and since she failed to adhere by them, they had nothing but to fire her. And the only way foe both parties is to terminate her working employment status.
Additionally, the station said that after several deliberations, they decided that parting ways is the best solution for either of them. The company also stated that Etania will receive her pay till the 3rd of July which is tomorrow.
Besides, she was advised to return all company properties such as IDs and laptop back to the human resources office. It’s from here that she will get her compensation details.
Meanwhile, she was also reminded of the non-disclosure agreement that she signed with the station while getting employment. This means that she won’t work for any other company in that line of work for a year nor will she disclose the code of business of the station to any other company.
Dear Edith Ndagire (Etania) as discussed, dignity and mutual respect are core uncompromisable values at NRG. After our conversation, we think that the best way forward for all parties involved is to terminate your services with NRG.
This is the final decision as part of the company’s disciplinary process after the end of your performance improvement plan. You are entitled to your salary up until 3rd July. Please return all company property, including IDs and laptop to the Human Resources office on the same date. Human Resources will give you a detailed letter with your full compensation details.
Please keep in mind that you signed a non-compete and non-disclosure agreement, and as such, you are prohibited from working with the competition for a year or revealing business information to any other parties during the process. We wish you best of luck,” the letter read.

The real indiscipline cause was not revealed by the radio station. However, it should be noted that Etania Mutoni who is now dating singer Joshua Baraka was one of the pioneers of this station which opened in Uganda a few years ago.
Asides, from her media work, Etania is a famous MC and DJ around the country. Perhaps this won’t affect her finances greatly.
