The Basheshe festival 2024, a cultural celebration meant to celebrate and being together the people of Western Uganda (Banyankore) also known as Basheshe will take place on the 1st of September 2024 according to the official communication from there camp.
This event will take place at Mbarara Inn and the entrance fee is pending official communication. A lot of activities are expected to be there such as roast and rhyme, comedy, open mic karaoke, and jam nights. More to this, this is still first of its kind in Western Uganda where all Westerners are expected to be there for their culture.
It is also worth noting that, many Deejays, Artistes, will be present. More so, there will be a kids’ play area, Cultural performances Food and Drinks, Tourism, Art Exhibitions, and lots of fun celebrating the Ankole heritage at the Basheshe Festival 2024. The organizers Octrain Events have confirmed this according to our reliable sources.
It should be remembered that this is not the first time this event is happened. It was also organized last year at Nkore Palace but in October. Several musicians such as Omega 256, Truth 256, and Sister Charity were all present.
This will be the second festival to happen in Western Uganda, Mbarara, particularly after the sold out 2-day Ray G festival that happened recently. This saw people of all walks come together to celebrate the goodness of Ray G music and appreciate him for being a strong music icon.
