There has been a fresh shooting that left a yet to be identified UPDF officer killed at the junction heading to Buddo by unknown armed assailants. This happened at around 9 PM today as he was driving a Toyota Prog reg number UAK 375U.
It is further informed that, the UPDF soldiers who were deployed at that junction to stop the March to Parliament protests tried to shoot at the assailants but unfortunately, a stray bullet hit and killed another man who was standing at a nearby shop and the body of the deceased is not yet identified too.
This gruesome murder happened hours after Ugandans decided to protest against corruption in the much-organized March to Parliament protests that left many youths remanded to Luzira until 30th July.
In Uganda, different people have been murdered and unfortunately, a few of the murderers have been arrested. The recent being the Ndiga clan leader who was shot dead in broad day light and his killers were apprehended by civilians but still, no report has ever been made from that killing.
