Locals in Kacwampare village, Rushambya, Katengyeto found in Ishongororo sub country which is in Ibanda district were left in utter disbelief and shock after a woman known as Justine brutally murdered husband for marrying another wife.
The deceased has been identified as Amos Ntagyenda the son of Mzee Ntagyenda from the same area. It’s reported that this woman murdered her husband using a machete. More shocking is that after committing this atrocity, this woman took off and she was chased by the village people and faced a mob justice and died as she was being rushed to the hospital.
Police are now investigating both deaths with a one being a murder and another, mob justice. Our sources on the ground say that Justine hails from Bigyera which is also found in Ibanda District. Additionally, it’s said that she had just returned from Dubai where she’s been working as a Kadama.
However, to her shock, she found that the husband whom she left as a single man had married another woman. Out of anger and disappointment, she decided to take matters into her own hands thus cutting Amos to death.

Furthermore, it is said that Justine had been sending money to Amos while in Dubai. It’s money that he allegedly used to marry the second wife. Two million shillings is what he paid to the family of his second wife which they used to buy a plot of land in Kacwampare trading centre in Rushambya village, Katengyeto zone.
