A major dispute has erupted in the Tamale Mirundi family after his death. This is about where he will be buried and his family which has 3 women and several children has failed to harmonize on where to lay him to rest, and when to do the burial.
Initially, it was suggested by John his elder son that he be laid to rest in his ancestral home in Kalisizo, Kyotera District. And some other family members objected the suggestion immediately. This happened when the family members were still at Kasubi hospital.
This is when singer Bebe Cool who had already reached at the scene advised the family members to first hold a family meeting at home in Zana and harmonize. Bebe Cool’s suggestion was backed by Tamale Mirundi Junior who said that the family should sit first and decide.

Meanwhile, Bebe Cool has embarked on chasing to see that Tamale Mirundi is accorded a state funeral. He told the family that he will chase after that but the major requirement is to get a postmortem report as he said that the president will need to have a look at it first.
Bebe Cool further helped the family of Tamale Mirundi to harmonize with the accounts as he left where family had converged with John, Mirundi’s son and they went and cleared the bill. That is after the bill was settled that the body of Tamale was released and he was taken to Mulago for postmortem.

But as it stands, higher changes are that he may be buried in Kalisizo since he himself decreed it in his podcasts he used to make with journalist Kasuku. In what appeared to be a Will, Tamale Mirundi once said that when he dies, his body should be taken to the houses of all his three women, and then be taken to Kalisizo for burial.
