It’s no longer news how the Kampala boys, B2C concert 2024 was postponed. This was slated to take place on the 10th of May.The Wanyonona singers however in a brief statement revealed how the show had been cancelled. However they didn’t give further details as to why this decision was made.
It’s with heartfelt regret that we would like to inform you of the postponement of our concert which was slated for 10th May 2024. A new date will be communicated as soon as it’s available the statement read.
It should be noted that this B2C Concert date has already started up different controversies and debates. This is because another artist, Ray G had already designated the date for his mega Twena HAMWE concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
Lots of people seem to be doubting the singer’s capacity to fill the gigantic venue although his diehards have lots of faith in him. Now, local events promoter Juma Balunywa has revealed what he thinks could have been the cause of the group postponing their concert.
He said that he was the one who worked with them last year for their concert at Freedom City. He’s therefore not sure whether they had gotten another promoter or if they wanted to organize their show themselves.
According to the promoter, sometimes musicians think that they are being exploited by these promgoers. However, when they decide to organize for themselves, it’s when they realize that sometimes promoters don’t earn anything.

Additionally, he said that if they had allowed him to organize for them, he would have worked on the Ray G competition favorably. Apparently, he could have put up a Baganda Banyankore Kweterana show to rival the Omusheshe singer’s concert because this is what he does best.
Well, it’s waited to see when the singers will reschedule their concert. And now all eyes are on Ray G to see if he can pull off this massive show.
