World Record holder of the Longest Rap Marathon Guinness World Record, Kabubi Akram aka Zedmonk Ssabatontomi has been rewarded by the government for the great work he did. This happened yesterday at the World Culture Day and Zedmonk was rewarded with an award.
Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development alongside Uganda National Cultural Centre (UNCC) took it to there sleeves and decided to reward the rapper for his outstanding work he did to raise the Ugandan flag. And he ward rewarded with the award of Excellence presented by the State Minister for Gender and Culture Peace Regis Mutuuzo.
The event happened at National Theatre and it had a lot of sets going on and there was a complete showcase of the Ugandan and African culture through art. That is where Zedmonk Ssabatontomi came in as someone that pushed the Uganda flag high through rapping.
It should be known that, the rapper did a Rap Marathon by an Individual record through rapping for 75 hours straight from 3rd May to 6th May 2024. He broke the existing record of 48 hours that was set by the Japanese rapper called Poney.

He is currently awaiting Guinness World Records to announce him as the true current record holder since no one again has tried to beat the same record yet.
