Uganda’s veteran producer Didi has come out to reveal how he has been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. This was revealed in a video he posted on social media, and in the same video he revealed his next moves after knowing that he is infected with the killer virus.
What surprised netizens is that the producer while disclosing the news didn’t look so broken like how one would expect him to be. In his talk, he revealed that he’s going to start working with different organizations and agencies. More so, Didi said that he will also work with new singers and producers to chase their dreams.
“I’m HIV positive. I was recently told I’m HIV positive after going for a medical checkup. My next journey will be to work with different organizations and agencies to help those with the same problem. I will also work with new artists and producers to help and inspire them so that they know being HIV positive is not the end of one’s dreams and aspirations,” producer Didi said.
The veteran producer came to the spotlight in the entertainment industry after producing massive hit songs that made stars like Eddy Kenzo (Stamina). More so, he was also the brain behind Coco Finger’s My Miss song that made his firm in the music industry.
Furthermore, the producer also had a music label that brought the likes of King Saha into the industry. However, several poor choices left him bankrupt and he had to flee the city to the islands of Lake Victoria.

A few months ago he was in the news narrating the dire situation he’s living in. He pointed out how some of the singers such as Eddy Kenzo that he had helped to become stars had forsaken him. Actually most artistes he made stars with his art abandoned him.
