Upcoming singer Aaronx has revealed how his Njalwala remix was born. It should be noted that the singer first did the single alone last year and it did quite well. As soon as it was out, Sheebah appeared to be a big fan of the song as she could be seen dancing and singing to it in several social media videos.
It seemed apparent that a collabo wouldn’t be far from reality and it indeed happened. Aaronx said that he was called by Fik Fameica ho told him that the Queen Karma wanted to jump on the song. He then gave the young singer the Nakyuka singer’s number.
The singer said that he was so excited when Fik Fameica told him that Sheebah wanted to jump onto the song. He first placed his phone down while talking to him and ran somewhere from the phone to shout in excitement.
As soon as the Queen Karma’s number was handed to him, he called her three times but she didn’t pick up. Afraid to try a fourth he gave up but the former TNS singer called him back a couple of hours later. When he introduced himself, she was excited to hear from him and they quickly set a date to do the remix.
However, Sheebah didn’t turn up despite the studio being booked and other singers denied access that day. Sheebah called him and apologized for not showing up saying that her voice was hoarse since she had several shows upcountry the previous day. They scheduled another day and this time the Tosobola singer showed up.
