Socialite and husband to renowned Hajjat Kulthum Muzata, Akram Gumisiriza has vowed to stay abroad in fear of his life. He said he is not going to return to Uganda to die yet he worked hard for his family to live peacefully and freely.
Akram Gumusiriza said he started having issues when he posted about contesting as the president of Uganda. He had said that in 2026 he is going to dethrone those that think are powerful. With that post, it came with a lot of threats, and phone calls that said are going to take his life once they had access to him.
He planned to go for a vacation abroad and he didn’t want to return. He said won’t that opportunity he is going to start a new life there and he will never be back. Akram said he wished to be back while dead and couldn’t face the threats that were imposed on him by these people.

“I don’t think j will ever return to Uganda, the post I made about politics jokingly almost made me lose my life. My wish is to come back when I am dead but other than that, I will be in the USA forever” Akram Gumisiriza posted.
